Initial ideas & thoughts
- fluid movement/ not rigid
- encouraging exploration and meandering
- not always waht people expect
- installation space
- adaptable spaces -(sensing devices)
- physically flexible spaces (moving walls- how do you encourage people to move the walls?)
- Boundaries are flexible
- Interaction- flexibility can change the way people use a space
- Acknowledges Diversity
- A large empty undefined space wouldn't work as a flexible space, it has to have some intention behind the design.
- Flexible for future use...environmental concerns!
- Activating the space in different ways
- Airport= flexible/ mobile (suits lifestyle and duties of polititians)
- Parliament on a boat?
